Thursday, Sept. 27
4 p.m. – 6 p.m. Registration & welcome reception at the Madelia Hotel.
7 p.m. Madelia Chamber of Commerce will present an overview of the Madelia area.
8:00 p.m. Local Madelia speaker with connection to the Posse that captured the Younger brothers.
Friday, Sept. 28
8 a.m.-3 p.m. Bus Tour from Madelia to Northfield. Tour the Northfield Historical Society. Bus will then take us on the trail
that the Gang used after the Northfield Bank Raid, back to Hanska slough. This tour will be narrated by Earl Weinmann and
Chip DeMann. There will be several stops along the way.
7 p.m. Our second local Madelia speaker with connection to the Posse.
Saturday, Sept. 29
9:0 0 a.m. Johnny Boggs will speak on his new book ”Jesse James and the Movies.”
11:00 a.m Reenactment of the Capture of the Younger Brothers and killing of Charlie Pitts at Hanska Slough approximately
10 miles east of Madelia. We will have a school bus to get everyone to and from the capture site. Lunch may be at the
LaSalle Supper Club or in Madelia.
1:00-2:30p.m, Tour of The Watonwan County Museum. They have actual guns that were used in the capture.
Optional Saturday tour: Jesse James Theme Park approximately 30 miles east of Madelia

discovery of the skeleton of Clell Miller. Banquet will be at the Madelia VFW.
